Poured Slab Foundation Lifting and Leveling
When you start noticing your floor sloping and begin to realize there is a gap at your baseboards, there is a moment of panic. Like any other concrete section that has settled, home slabs begin to sink when the soil underneath the slab is not reinforced properly to handle the weight of the slab. Though the problem isn’t noticeable at first, over time the small warning signs become more and more pronounced. Fortunately, JACKCRETE can fix interior settlement without much inconvenience or expense before it becomes a much larger problem.
How JACKCRETE Fixes Sunken Interior Slabs
By injecting spray foam in a grid pattern around the settled foundation slab, JACKCRETE is able to reinforce the soil and lift the foundation back to level. Our technicians are trained to lift interior slabs within a 1/1000” variance when needed, and usually only take between 1-3 hours to complete an interior project. To make sure we can do our work, homeowners must move large furniture out of the work area as well as roll back the carpet temporarily if needed. Once we’re done, your slab is lifted back to it’s original position and the odds of future settlement is minimized.
Foundation ISsues With A Basement or Crawlspace
If your home has a different foundation than a poured slab, our foam injection process cannot be used. For projects involving foundation settlement of a basement or crawlspace, a foundation repair company should be contacted. Fortunately, the Hampton Roads area has plenty of qualified contractors to handle such a project!
