IntroducinG JACK-LOK Single Component Systems
JACKCRETE is proud to introduce it’s newest foam system, specially designed to eliminate sinkholes quickly and effectively. JACK-Lok can be installed by our experts wherever it is needed- next to a breached manhole cover, beside a compromised seawall, in the middle of a field- anywhere. The material is extraordinarily lightweight to ensure no additional load to the compromised substrate, and hydrophobic to ensure that once the breach is sealed, it remains sealed. The JACKCRETE team are trained experts in the installation of JACK-Lok, with projects completed throughout Hampton Roads.
Filling and stabilizing sinkholes
While our work usually focuses on concrete settlement, JACK-Lok can work without any concrete present. Using a specialized injection arm to pierce far into the ground, our team can guide the material to where it needs to be and shift the injection area as the sinkhole begins to be filled. JACK-Lok expands aggressively, filling large voids with comparatively little material by weight. Hydrophobic and low viscosity, JACK-Lok fills all compromised voids and creates a barrier to water intrusion around seawalls, bridge entrance ramps, manholes, and more.
Seawall Reinforcement
JACK-Lok is able to expand under a compromised seawall to fill in all gaps and provide a waterproofed barrier to the waterway. The soil around the seawall becomes stabilized, the voids are all filled and reinforced, and further soil loss is minimized. No large-scale excavation needed- our crew is in and out in one day with minimal intrusion.
Sinkhole Filling
Whether from sudden soil shifts or water intrusion, JACK-Lok is the answer to sinkhole filling. Our single component material is incredibly strong yet exceptionally lightweight, reinforcing and stabilizing the area while eliminating risk of future voids. We focus on addressing the cause of the sinkholes, whether that means reinforcing along a breached manhole or sealing all of the joints that could provide a space for water intrusion.
